I used Hank Hogue as a real estate agent, advisor, and outright expert in helping me get our 49 year old residence ready for sale. He provided me with contact info for a general contractor who could help provide personnel for doing home repairs including roofing, painting, carpeting replacement, carpentry work, etc. We redid yard drainage around the garage, new flower planting, new fencing around the pool, other work to make the home neat, clean and attractive. The very first couple that saw our home became the buyers of our property. Could not haver happened without Hank’s help and advice. He was extremely professional at all times and would highly recommend him.

I really liked Hank so much as a person and loved him as my realtor. He was always there to answer my questions and give needed advise to me! It started as a whim and ended as a great decision. Hank Hogue, our real estate agent, was largely responsible for this decision. We live in a different state and wanted to spend more time with our children and grandchildren. We thought it might be a lot easier to do this if we could bring our new puppy and had our own bed to sleep in at night. Hank showed us only property in our price range that could be a small home away from home. We never felt any pressure. He found us the perfect two bedroom condo that needed minimal updating. He also guided us to contractors who have helped with the painting and carpeting and even sent pictures to show their progress. His kindness didn't stop there. Since we live out of town, he has been the go between to allow contractors in and out of the condo. We have friends in the Memphis area and will not hesitate to recommend Hank as a realtor. What could have been a stressful experience, Hank has made practically painless. I don't think we could have made a better choice.

Hank did a great job, selling our house and also helped us close on our new house. As in any real estate transaction, everything does not go exactly as planned, but Hank kept his cool and walked us through the rough spots. He knew some great contractors to fix the items that we needed to repair, and both transactions were completed. I would recommend Hank to anyone wishing to sell their home, or buying a home.

We cannot begin to express the appreciation we have for Hank Hogue. Hank recently helped us sell our Memphis home, and his professionalism, timeliness, courtesy and knowledge were truly outstanding. In the summer of 2018, we decided to move from Memphis to the Portland, OR area for family reasons. For logistical purposes, we decided our actual move would wait until late in the year, and therefore, did not put our house on the market until December. During the months leading up to that time, Hank gave us some wonderful guidance on how to make improvements to our home so that it would be more marketable, and even provided us the names of some contractors to do the work. Finally, shortly before Christmas, we left Memphis for Portland; however, before we did, Hank gave us some incredibly valuable direction as to the particulars related to the actual marketing of our home. The day after Christmas, December 26, 2018, Hank put a "for sale" sign in our yard---and by New Years Eve day, we had had several showings and two offers, including the one we accepted---for our asking price. Later, after the pre-closing home inspection was done on our Memphis house, several issues were identified; many of these issues were minor, and things I could have done had I not been 2300 miles away in Portland. However, incredibly, Hank volunteered to do these things himself, buying many of the needed items for the repairs. For the home repair issues that required specialized expertise, Hank helped us find vendors to do the work, and then helped negotiate the labor costs to get those issues fixed. To say that Hank went "over-and-above the call of duty" for us would not be a strong enough superlative. We thought it would be hard to sell our home from 2300 miles away. We thought it would be difficult, if not impossible, to sell a home during the Christmas holiday season. We wondered how all of the 'leg work' and coordination of a house sale could happen, when we, the homeowners, couldn't be there to be "hands-on". However, as it turned out, none of these things were a problem for us---and that's simply because we had Hank Hogue and his team working for us. We originally selected Hank to market our home because he and his family were former neighbors. You can tell a lot about someone's character and work ethic when you are their neighbor. And now, after seeing that character and work ethic in action for us, during our home sale, we are even bigger fans of Hank than ever before.
